Hair Chat: How To Grow Longer Hair

This post will be all about growing your hair! Please remember that this is just what worked for me. This is how I grew my hair out.

I'd have to say owning a good shampoo and conditioner is the key to growing longer hair. You want to look for a shampoo and conditioner that is paraben free and other sorts of chemicals.
Mane 'N Tail

This shampoo and conditioner has done so much for my hair. I've emptied so many bottles of these.
This shampoo is a human and horse shampoo which is meant to provide fuller, stronger, longer, healthier hair. It really does work well to make your hair grow faster.Well, atleast it did for me!

Marc Anthony Coconut Oil & Shea Butter

This shampoo is really good to grow out your hair because it is sulfate free and contains biotin and coconut oil. Coconut oil prevents hair from breakage and split ends which contributes to hair length, it moisturizes dry hair, slows down hair loss, it also stimulates hair growth because it gets deep into follicles.

Other than owning a good Shampoo and Conditioner, I think threating your hair to a good hair mask atleast 1-2 times a week will do your hair some good.

I know everyone has heard this one. Washing your hair every single day is not good for your hair. I use to be one of those people who would always wash my hair cause I found they would always get greasy the next day. I just thought it was nasty to skip a hair wash day. Eventually, I decided I had to give my hair a break. If it got greasy I would just put my hair up.There's many pretty hairstyles you can do that works with greasy hair. There is just so many good dry shampoos out there... it just makes it SO much easier. My favorite dry shampoo brand is hands down ''Batiste''

I feel like a lot of dry shampoo didn't make my hair feel clean. Like, it would make the oil go away but my hair still felt kinda gross, This is the only one I have found that didn't make my hair feel disgusting and didn't leave my hair looking grey and powdery. It also adds instant volume to any hairstyles.

Also avoiding using too much heat helps growing out your hair healthier without frying it and having split ends. I never blow dry my hair. I let my hair dry naturally unless I'm in a rush and I have to blow dry it, I will use any heat protector before applying any heat to my hair. Again, there is so many nice hairstyles you can do without any heat. Just give your hair a break of heat for a while!

Brushes:
When your hair is wet you do not want to brush it with a regular brush cause that is really damaging and causes split ends. You want to use a hair comb. When your hair is dry just use a regular brush and brush your hair lightly with a detangler.

Again, please keep in mind that this is what worked for me.

Review: Hard Candy ''Brows Now'' Brow Fiber Gel & Highlighter

So, I've been using this product for a few months now and I think it's save to say that I am absolutely obsessed with it. Compare to the Maybelline Brow Drama the brush is smaller, I would say the brush is really similar to Benefits ''Gimme Brow'' so it makes the application easier and not messy. Also this one sets my eyebrows all day and adds fibers without making my eyebrows feeling hard and crispy. This is definitely part of my everyday makeup routine ever since I bought it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good eyebrow gel without paying for a higher brand one. This one does the job very well and is very affordable. As for the highlighter I don't really use it because I only got this for my eyebrows but it is still very nice. I personally don't use it to highlight my brow bone but to highlight the inner corner of my eyes. I seriously think this product does the same as Benefits ''Gimme Brow'' . I've used both and I think for the price difference this one is worth trying! I will be buying this one again once I'm done. Also, this product will last you forever!

The Lip Product Tag

Favourite balm or treatment: Lip balm; EOS Lip Treatment; Blistex
or anything strong for when my lips are really dry! 

Best eye catching red: I don't like wearing a bright eye catching red, if
I do it has to be a buildable red that isn't too eye catching so I can 
apply very lighty. I'd have to say Revlon's Lip butter in the shade
Candy Apple or Red Velvet are both nice red shades that I can
choose the intensity I want.

Favourite pink: Airy Fairy-Rimmel & Primrose Revlon

Favourite nude: MAC's Hue, Kat Von D's Agatha Lipstick, L'Oreal's
 Fairest Nude & L'oreal's Sheer Linen are all very nice nude shades.

Best luxury lipstick: I don't necessarily think I own a ''luxury'' lipstick.

Best MAC lipstick: There is just so many! I'm pretty sure everyone
can agree with me. But, I'd have to say I've been wearing the shade 
''Brave'' quite a lot lately!

Favourite gloss: I don't really have one so far, I rarely ever 
wear a lip gloss because I personally like to keep a 
matte/glaze finish, but not glossy!

Favourite Spring/Summer shade: Creme Cup -MAC

HARD CANDY| Mini Haul

Here's a few Hard Candy products I picked up from Walmart, some of them are new and I just couldn't resist since I'm obsessed with their products.

Glamoflauge foundation: I cannot wait to try this one out since I have the concealer of this and it is absolutely amazing, it's the one I have been using for a while now so I can't wait to see if the foundation is as good. This foundation was only 6.98$!

Fiberized Brow Gel & Brow Highliter ''Brows Now!'': I've been on the hunt for a good drugstore brow mascara and I just haven't found it yet. I am super excited to try it cause I heard tons of good reviews ! This item was only 5,98$.

Hard Candy So Baked Bronzer in the Shade ''Tiki'': This one I had to get because I had heard it was a dupe for MAC's Soft And Gentle. For only 8.98$. What a Deal! 

Fast & Fabulous Makeup Setting Spray: A Makeup setting spray that's only 5.98$?? Yes please. I feel like a makeup setting spray is only something they sell as high end brands. I was super excited to see one at the drugstore and especially at that price. I'll take that!

It has a lot of movies... except the ones I actually want to watch. I wish their selection was bigger. Also, I feel like they mostly have old movies, they should keep up and add new ones as well.

Maybelline Brow Drama/ Sculpting Brow Mascara: Review

I had high hopes for this brow mascara but, I was really disappointed.
I thought maybe this could be a dupe for a high end product, great deal at Walmart ! I used the color Soft Brown which was the perfect match for my dirty blonde hair.

First of all the wand has a weird unnecessary ball-shaped tip at the end. That would be okay for the front of the brow but is way too big for the brow tail, its quite difficult to use and time consuming.

 Also, I didn't like the formula of this product. Yes, it did hold them in place. But, it gave my eyebrows a weird crispy finish! they felt hard to the touch. Obviously, that didn't make my eyebrows look very natural.
This is not a product I will be repurchasing.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer: Review

I can't say enough good things about this product! I had trouble finding a bronzer that suited me well because of my pale skin. I felt like everything looked too dark/orange and streaky on me, which made me feel really uncomfortable.So this bronzer is perfect for you if you have pale skin as well. It has been included in my everyday makeup routine ever since I bought this product. This bronzer will leave you with a natural tan, it doesn't make your bronzer look over done. Also, this smells absolutely amazing! It is cocoa based so it smells like hot chocolate! Yum!
 It is definitely on the pricier side but is worth the price! I absolutely love this product and I will for sure repurchase this item when I run out of it!

Beauty Haul

Here is a couple of beauty things I got today :)

Almay Smart Shade Mousse Makeup Foundation

I have been using this product for a couple weeks now and I must say I wasn't expecting a lot from it because it isn't a brand I usually reach for. But, lately I've had a hard time with foundations because every one I tried made me look super dry and cakey. I had heard that Almay products were made for sensitive skin and wasn't suppose to make you breakout. Curious, I decided to give this a try.

As you can tell, the color of the jar is not the color you get inside. At first, it starts out grey but when you blend it into your skin it starts to match your skin color.

It has a whipped texture and it blends really nicely. I love the finish of this product once it sets, I would say this has a medium coverage and a dewy finish.

Overall, after using this product for several weeks, I must say that I am in love with this mousse makeup and when I will run out of it, I will for sure buy it again! This was worth every penny.

I haven't notice a lot of breakouts in weeks with this or any dry patches.

This is a really good inexpensive product which I think would be good on any skin types.

I recommend everyone to try out this product.

This is a very pigmented deep red. It isn't matte but not too shiny either!

A little of this color goes a long way and it also stays for quite a while.

I would also say that this lip gloss is quite buildable and also is the perfect fall or winter color.

#2 Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss in Pink Pop

Swatch:

This color is a very beautiful pink shade. I especially love this color during the summer.

I also really love the texture of this one and I like to wear it on top of pink lipsticks a lot but it is also very pretty on it's own.

#3 Essence Stay with Me longlasting Lipgloss in ''Me & My IceCream"

Swatch:

This shade is a light baby pink. It does stay on well and it is VERY affordable. This is a perfect everyday shade.

#4 Rimmel London Apocalips in Phenomenon

This color is more of a peachy nude. I really love the texture and the cute packaging.

#5 Smashbox in Luster

As you can tell, this color doesn't really show. This lipgloss is really sheer but it contains a lot of different types of glitters which will make any lipsticks have a nice shine.
